Winnie & Walter October Release Day 4

October 30, 2015 at 12:00 pm 20 comments

Hi! Well ..last day, and yet even more great Winnie & Walter new releases. Today I’m using several stamp sets, a die set & a creative screening (stencil). First up.. Merry & Bright with Evelin T Designs

Oct30a

This card was easy; 3 colours of Distress inks added over the sentiment that I’d embossed over white. Spray a little water over (it almost gives the idea of lights in the distance!) and then stamp a few snowflakes in silver and add some sequins!

Oct30b

Next up; one of the cards you won’t have seen on the Winnie & Walter blog as I only finished it last night. This is using the other set designed with Evelin T Designs ‘Happiest of Holidays’. I’ve paired it with one of the new cutaways that premiered on Tuesday and those birds? Aren’t they just gorgeous !

oct301

Next up, ‘Mini Scenery: Do you see what I see?’. Oh, you’ll LOVE the pattern of this stamp. The title is perfect as there are so many ways of colouring the design, in graphic patterns, as geometric flower shapes or simply as cubes, as I’ve done here. I wanted the cubes to be falling and actually coming out of the card.. (& yes, it will fold flat, and no, I did not have any idea what size of envelope I’d put it into when I started.. details details..oops!!)

oct302

This next trio of tags is using the stamp sets I’ve already outlined but incorporating Essentials: Noelle Cutaways (a fabby die set) and also the ‘Creative Screenings: Do You See What I See’. I’ve sponged grey ink onto the die-cut tags and then stamped over the top. So easy!

Add some red lace for tying the tags and i’ve visions of white stamped kraft wrapping paper and these little tags adorning them.

All the fun is still going on at the Winnie & Walter blog. I hope you’ve been commenting over there as every comment on the different days (including the chance to win the Big Release post) gets you a chance to be picked to win! Just make sure you comment on every one if you want a chance for each prize.

I’ve been so fortunate to get to play with this release & have loved sharing my projects with you. Thanks to those of you that have been commenting every day- I’ve smiled so much reading them all these past few days.

The fun isn’t over yet..one more day.

I’m doing my final Leading Lady post tomorrow! (so sad!)

Till then, xx

Keren, I am new to your work, but love it on Winnie & Walter. Thank you so much for the information about the Merry & Bright card. I like the look of the gradient colors over the embossing. I need to review my Distress ink pads. I hope to see more of your beautiful work on W&W. Thanks, Carol (from the San Francisco Bay area, California US)

Keren, seriously, I have been so excited to see what your projects were going to be each day! Love the birds perched on “home.” Love the falling blocks. Really love the middle tag with just a tiny portion of the birdhouse on the edge and the stenciled pattern in the middle. So well designed!!

You think your sad, what about us. No more Keren Baker masterpieces to salivate over. Just look what you’ve done here. Shay and Julie are going to be so distraught when tomorrow is over. I know I will be. Now that you’ve completely blown my mind with all this loveliness, you’re gone. Today’s array started with that gorgeous tall card, went to the sweet and beautifully colored “home” card, then that AWESOME geometric fabulousness followed by adorable and stunning tags. Honestly, there should be a diamond tiara out there and you should wear it every day.
