Clearly Besotted Release Day- Icy Corners
Hello all!
How is your day going? It’s that time again- Release Day and there’s plenty of sets to choose from. I’ve used a combo of sets today in two very simple projects. This first card uses a portion of one of the Icy Corner sets. Usefully the corner is complete in part so you can trim a section down and use it not as a corner.

Little mouse is using the ice-cream to slide down! Who said you can’t play with your food? đ
The sentiment is really clever and although the word is American, I think that most people know what a popsicle is. I’ve added some Spun Sugar blended into the background and a little Prismcolor pencil to ground the ice-cream onto.

I’ve added some details – like on the cone. Despite it looking tempting, there’s no way I’d be eating 4 scoops. although the cherry is definitely my favourite.
The other quick tag is using the last set – ‘Sundae Funday’.

If you like ice-cream then imagine a bowl full rather larger than your body!! With some Tumbled Glass Distress ink given a little water splatter and some Copic marker coloured images.
Well it’s nearly time to be able to get the release….at 8pm GMT tonight
Please now go over to visit Clearly Besottedâs blog (and on Instagram too) and then onto see my lovely teamie Michelle Short for her video. Lastly pop over to visit our fabulous guest designers Alberto Gava, and Francine Vuilleme and Kitty Day to see some wonderful projects.

Clearly Besotted March Teasers – Blowing Balloons
Hi again! How are you? We’re onto Day 4 of 5 days, where Day 5 is release day and you’re able to get your hands on these new sets.
Today’s set is all about balloons. Do you remember being a parties where someone blows up those thin balloons and fashions animals out of it?

Isn’t it a sweet set? I love those balloon flowers with the bends in the leaves.
The little guy is taking a ride on the balloon butterfly. Thankfully there are no thistles or wasps around or that butterfly might not stay inflated for long!!

You can see the stencilling in more detail on that picture. It’s the Clearly Besotted ‘Sunny Day Stencil’ and I’ve used it for a fair few different kinds of scenes; underwater, sun coloured rays and plenty more; a really versatile set.

I’ve added that sentiment from the Clearly Besotted ‘Simply Said’ set. The scripty font combo always makes me smile!
Now it’s time to There are still more cards and inspiration to come . Pop over to Clearly Besotted either on their Facebook page or Instagram account.
We’ve also got more loveliness from my amazing teamie Michelle, and our guests Kitty, Alberto and Francine.
One day left, until Release Day. Which set are you after?

Clearly Besotted March Teasers- Beary Beeutiful Corners
Hello! Hope you’re having a good day. I hope you’ve realised what the main theme I’ve chosen for this month is? Stencils. I just don’t use them enough and today I’ve used them slightly differently.

These corners are fabulous and I ‘might’ have spent just a little while with my craft knife, removing the honeycomb centres. Don’t you love how they’re dripping with honey too. It’s little details like that, that make my heart sing!

I chose the Hive Of Activity Stencil and sponged some wet glue over the stencil. By the time you’ve finished daubing through the stencil, you can press metallic leaf through it. Really add some pressure whilst pressing into the glued areas and then buff away gently. It’s never going to a crisp edge, but it adds something special.

I’ve coloured the bee, flowers and honeycomb using Copic markers. The sentiment is also from the set.
Please go and visit Clearly Besotted either on their Facebook page or Instagram account.
We’ve also got more lovely cards from my teamie Michelle, and our guests Kitty, Alberto and Francine.
See you then,

Clearly Besotted March Teasers – Balloon Bunch Treats
Hi! As I write this post, the sun is out, it’s warm and it’s definitely ice-cream weather! Here with a lip-smacking set called ‘Balloon Bunch Treats’ . I have a feeling that by the time you’re reading this, it’s probably Arctic conditions again! Anyway- how about a card to make us wish of warmer climes?

I saw the bunny and the icecream and imagined her diving headlong into giant balls of chocolate, strawberry, choc-chip and creamy vanilla gelato. It reminds me of when I was younger and one of my wishes was to swim in a swimming pool full of Angel Delight.. but that’s another story for another time!

I have to say I quite enjoyed colouring in these sweet treats, I should have added Copic ‘ripples’ just like when you’ve scooped some out, but I forgot, so you’ll have to imagine it instead!

You can see the details and also the stencilling. I used the Basic Spots Stencil and some Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks.
The sentiment is also from the same set and you can have lots of fun deciding which flavours to colour. I have to admit being rather partial to Rum and Raisin, Pistachio or Black Cherry.
There’s plenty more to feast your eyes upon with Clearly Besotted either on their Facebook page or Instagram account.
Please now pop over to see lovely Michelle, and our lovely guests Francine, Kitty, and Alberto I can’t promise ice-cream tomorrow but we’ll have something buzzy instead.
See you tomorrow,

Clearly Besotted March Teasers – Let’s Bee Friends!
Hello! It’s me again! I really should update my blog more often, but it’s time for the Clearly Besotted teasers for March. Today I’m looking at the set ‘Let’s Bee Friends’ and it’s a superb(l)ee cute set!
There’ll bee lots of bee-related puns, so forgive me ahead of time.

The scene is absolutely gorgeous, with dripping honey and an abundance of flowers. Love the little bee buzzing around, arranging a floral display around his home.
I’m not entirely sure how he is going to fit into his home, maybe he’s one too many honey butties!
Let’s look at a closeup

It’s easy to bee smitten with the little guy’s cuteness and it’s totally bee-lievable that he’s flying around with a flower. Lots of glitter and lots of colouring with Copics. This set has bees and bears and lots of bee and honey themed puns.

The sentiment is actually from a previous set ‘Simply Said’ as I wanted a more generic greeting for an upcoming Birthday. You can also see some stencilling using the ‘Honeycomb Crunch Stencil’ and two yellow inks (Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber) to add some depth. I absolutely love this stencil – so easy to use and perfect for a little texture to your backgrounds.
Now it’s time to There are still more cards and inspiration to come . Pop over to Clearly Besotted either on their Facebook page or Instagram account.
We’ve also got more lovely cards from my teamie Michelle, and our guests Kitty, Alberto and Francine.
There’s plenty more over the next few days, so please join me again tomorrow,

Clearly Besotted Release Day – Easter Line Up
Hello! We’ve got to the end and it’s Release Day. Happy February y’all ! We’re still hopping ahead and are going towards spring and Easter. This set is ‘Easter Line Up’ and contains 3 different scenes.
After all the colouring this month, I went simple!

Who doesn’t love a tulip? One of the happiest flowers and those bunnies are so cute. Granted, they look like they’ve been on the sun-beds đ I think I overdid it with the pinks! haha.

A little white dotting here and there, and there and over there too! The sentiment is just perfect!

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Rain Down Line Up
Hi everyone! Thanks for popping by and I hope you’re ok. Who doesn’t love the colours of rainbows! Rain Down Line Up has a rainbow background and two scenes, although I’ve only used the sky bit today.

I wanted to make it look like the doggies were all looking out of a window. The doggos are from the ‘Back To Front Line Up’ and stamping the min white onto black card. No colouring; so easy!

I’ve used a thin frame to act as a window frame and added lots of white dots to give a little dimension to the pups. The thing I found the most challenging was choosing the colours for the rainbow with only 4 layers.

If you don’t want to add lots of colour, just add a little around the edges- just like in the clouds. It looked a little bare so I added some blue watercolour to the sky. It’s quite an easy make.
As usual thereâs plenty more inspiration for you. Do visit Clearly Besotted either on their Facebook page or Instagram account.
Then thereâs my awesome teammate Michelle and our guests for this month Francine, Kitty and Alberto
Hope to see you tomorrow,

Clearly Besotted January Release – Dim Sum Day
Happy New Year!
Do you make resolutions? Did you make any? I don’t really do resolutions, but I do ‘One Word’. I’m still deciding on the word to take with me, but it’s a toss-up between ‘forgive’ and ‘resilience’. Which word would you choose if you wanted to have an inspiring word for the year?
As it’s a New Year (and I know it’s not the Chinese New Year until the 22nd) but it got me thinking and the ‘Dim Sum Day’ set has the cutest little animals and I thought that the rabbit holding the chopsticks might look fabulous in a mini fortune cookie.

The papercrafted fortune cookie is quite easy and is better created in paper. There’s a tutorial of how to make a similar one here.
I wanted to tuck the fun sentiment in where the two edges met each other. Plus arrange the rabbit on the top.

You could whip up a whole clutch of these for a party, or put some fun sentiments that might inspire the recipients.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at the new sets. They really are a beautiful collection of stamps.
Please now go over to visit Clearly Besottedâs blog (and on Instagram too) and then onto my favourite teamie Michelle Short. Lastly pop over to visit our fabulous guest designers Alberto Gava, Francine Vuilleme and Kitty Day to see some wonderful projects.

Hello Altenew friends and my lovely blog readers. How are you?

This Giant Bellflower Build-A-Flower set is incredibly beautiful, and I wanted create a project in teal. Here’s what I ended up with.

The Giant Bellflower Build-A-Flower set comes as a stamp and die set and you can get it here. If you love the series, don’t want to miss any and fancy a subscription with 10% off, you can purchase that here.
Let your imagination soar with stunning florals and heartfelt greetings in this unique layering stamp and die set. The florals in this set feature an artistic take on giant bellflowers, showcasing beautiful open petals on a cluster of three flowers. Want to experiment with colour? We have added separate colouring layers for each individual flower so you can get creative with colours for your paper crafting projects.

I simply stamped with three matching ink colours for the flowers and two for the green. I outlined the whole image with the darkest teal ink to give it a softer look. Once I’d die-cut the flowers I arranged them onto a tent folded card (I cut two sets of flowers out and trimmed some of them apart)
