Hi everyone! Don’t fall over in shock- a post, …with actual content! The gremlins are still misbehaving a little- but hopefully I’ve ironed it out & we have a fabulous hop for you today. If you haven’t caught up with the other days..do go and look at all of the projects!

This week Add A Little Dazzle and Neat & Tangled have joined forces to bring you some stamp and metal goodness. Neat & Tangled is a stamp company boasting fun with a cute, hand drawn, heartwarming feel. They’re great quality stamps & I’ve actually not used stamps in a physical sense today but their digital stamps (which is the same design of one of their stamps too!).

I’ve linked the picture to the actual digital file page. You don’t need an actual stamp to create my project, in fact, the stamp wouldn’t enable you to make this little gift. This digital file is just what you need! In case you’re wondering; it’s a layered hot chocolate gift- all ready to pop into a pan or microwave (reserving the choc and peppermint candy pieces until the drink is made) and makes a super easy gift for someone.

choc3I have shared some projects created with my Silhouette Cameo before & this was created with the Add A Little Dazzle Scarlet Red & Brushed Bronze metal and some gorgeous vinyl. The supplies work together beautifully.

Brushed Bronze

Because Neat & Tangled create these as files which are downloaded as JPEGs or PNG files, you can print, colour, or, as I did, trace them in my Silhouette Studio software & cut out sections in both metal and vinyl. Now, due to the miniature size of the tag- I couldn’t cut the file exactly as it is, so I had to remove the tinier elements so I could actually cut the metal & the vinyl.

The Cameo is fab- but you need to be gentle with it-especially when it comes to cutting metal. Slow speeds are crucial with metal. I have it cutting at the slowest speed and the Blade at about 9-10. Part of the reason I’ve a higher no is that my blade isn’t super-new.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the actual stamp! I have used another stamp set for the tag; ‘Gifts For You’

choc4As usual there’s a prize for visting all of the blogs and leaving comments at each; there’s a prize from Neat & Tangled & Add A Little Dazzle. You have until midnight (MST) on the 22nd of November to have left comments with each participant. Here’s the list of everyone taking part today.
