Clearly Besotted October Teasers Day 2

I promised you more florals and these ones are a particular favourite of mine. I adore orchids- I could talk to you ad nauseum about them… I’m even in a Facebook group about caring for orchids 😉

This set is called ‘Blooming Orchid Plushies’- such a lovely set.

There’s something about the wide range of varieties and colours. This particular variety is Phalaenopsis and they can come in yellows, white, pinks, purples and more. I love the splashes of colour that often look like dots and wanted to echo that on my orchids too.

The little guy looks like he’s using it as an umbrella or something to wave about. I love the drama of black and it works so well against the flowers. I wanted to add a little movement to the scene so found the butterfly from ‘Picture It Oz’ (a recent set) and coloured and cut out a few.

Add lots of little dots mimicking the flight of the butterflies and add the flower using foam pads. I’ve really loved stamping up these two floral sets- just gorgeous sets.
