Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
May 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm 56 comments

Hello lovely blog friends, it’s lovely to be sharing with you again. Today we’re celebrating the release of Altenew’s latest Craft-A-Flower which I think are one of my favourite things that Altenew release. This blog hop starts at the Altenew Card Blog if you want to start at the beginning. You might have arrived at my blog from the fabulous Joylita Dsouza so if that’s the case, a special welcome!
Onto what I’ve created.. well I did stick to the traditional colours this time!

What a stunner of a die set right?! Its a layering die set which is easy to put together. You can get them as a complete set here (the following links are affiliate ones) Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup Layering Die Set and also the Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup Die Set & Gradient Cardstock Bundle (has a 5% discount).

You can see the details. To ‘ground’ my flowers, I added them to a simple square die cut frame that I mounted onto my base card. The base is pretty simple too- just a basic tent fold card that I marked the centre point at the bottom and then trimmed a triangle out so you have a banner shape. I used different greens for the bottom and centre of the buttercup and leaves. Looking at the set, it would be easy to change colours and transform the buttercup into another kind of flower.
As usual there is a fab giveaway.
Giveaway Prizes
There is $200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 05/13/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 05/15/2021.
All that is left for me to do is encourage you to keep hopping over to my lovely friend Michelle Short who is sure to wow you!

Keren, at first I thought this was a real wood frame on top of a thin wood banner both painted white. For some reason your flowers look like they have more layers. Don’t know if it is a trick of photography or depth perception, but this is a really cool look. Humm, but it has got me thinking to try this with wood for a wall decoration.

OOOO I adore the way you shaped this card so that it still fits in a regular envelope but the recipient gets such a stunner of a card in this variation of a banner card! It is like a gorgeous bunch of flowers outside the polaroid frame atop a banner!!! BRILLIANT and AMAZING!!!!!!
