Altenew Suddenly Spring Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hello lovely friends, it’s time for another blog hop- this time celebrating the new Spring Themed die release from Altenew. I have loved playing around with this collection! If you’ve arrived from Joylita Dsouza’s blog, then a big hello! If you want to start at the very beginning then do head over to the Altenew Card Blog.
There are so many die sets to choose from. I’m beginning with the Whimsical Garden Layering Die Set. I love the quirky style and thought I’d outline the set with grey and use some pastel-ly colours (which is really unlike me!).

The set is really detailed and is great because you need to do very little to your design. I’ve simply backed a card blank with black cardstock and added some faux stitching with white gel pen and a few little dots.
Next up is a real combo card- using a mash up of 3 sets; Circular Elements, Slim Sentiments and Mini Flower Cluster Layering Die Set.
If you want to see the whole release- do go over to the Altenew Store here and for the bundle

This ended up as a shaker card; I just love the graphic style of the circles contrasted with the soft florals. Granted, I probably won’t make many combo shakers, but these sets will have so many uses. The circle die will make amazing aperture cards and I can see lots of cards and scrapbook projects with softly falling clusters of flowers.
There are some Free Gifts to celebrate the release, and keep reading for the Giveaway.
Here are TWO ways to get a FREEBIE to kickstart your creativity! Free gift will be added to cart automatically.

- Get a FREE brand-new Suddenly Spring Stand-alone Dies Release Mini Inspiration Guide with every order from 04/19/2021 through 04/21/2021. Shop HERE!
The next project is using two sets; Decorative Swirls Die Set & the Fancy Kisses Die .

I used the leaves a little like feathers; die cutting from white cardstock, partially inking on some Distress Ink and then adding some black dots. The Kisses die is cut from black glitter cardstock (why does it never show up on photos?!).
Before I show you my last project and send you to the next stop on the blog hop, I must tell you about the fabulous Giveaway.
Giveaway Prizes
$300 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 10 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 04/25/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 12 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 04/27/2021.
Onto my last project…

This is using the new Mantel Decor Spring die. It’s the perfect partner to the Modern Fireplace Layering Die but can be used perfectly by itself. I wanted to give the illusion of a shelf that the elements were resting on, so dug out my Thin Frame 3D set and trimmed it down a little to fit my card base. Adding some watercolour wash to the background gives it a soft spring time vibe. For the ‘pictures’ I just added in some stamped flowers and foliage from the Billowing Blossoms stamp set. The Mantel Decor Spring die set is very versatile, I trimmed down one of the frames slightly to make a square frame- very easy to do!
I hope you loved seeing some of these new dies, they will really ignite your creativity!
Next up is the lovely Laura Jane, so do continue hopping to see some amazing inspiration on the rest of the blogs.

These are all cute cards! I do like the pastels on the whimsical garden card, especially with the iron grey outline. It looks like stained glass.
