I remember Altenew starting out just after I’d been involved with Card Idol which was a competition with the wonderful PaperCrafts magazine that sadly is no more. I remember hearing talk about Jennifer Rsaza and Tasnim Ahmed setting up a new business and I remember their first sets too! What a ride since. The company has grown and grown and I’m so happy for them. I created a card signifiying growth ( the leaves and flowers are growing out of the page…or that’s the look I was going for!!

I adored this Semi-Double Chrysanthemum Stamp and Die set– love their layering stamp sets! I’ve used different colours for the leaves to give it much better dimension.

The sentiment is from Ornamental Bliss, which I also love; love the modern font! I’ve just stamped, die cut the flowers and leaves and added them onto the card using a lot of foam squares and weaving some of the leaves in and out of the flowers. It was fun creating this card!
