Diva Challenge #61

Brrr. It’s a freezing Wednesday and the challenge is a photo inspiration- I’ve gone a vague Valentine route.
I thought I might show you how easy it is to do embossing without a die-cutting machine. First I made a template that was supposed to be mittens but looked rather like Oven Gloves 😉 Cut them out after tracing onto the metal.
Next, lay them onto the embossing folder, close the folder and use a rolling pin with plenty of pressure!
And..ta-daah.. perfectly embossed metal with no equipment!
The stamps are all from WPlus9 -stamped in London Fog (Memento) and Pale Tomato (Hero Arts)To create the little heart I added glue to some Lawn Fawn twine and held it in the heart shape until it dries. I’ve added some Scarlet Red hearts with the Wondrous White mittens.
The challenge is easy to join with- and you don’t need to use metal either Join in here- you’ve one week to join in and there’s a voucher for the store to be won as usual.
Wishing I had a pair of mittens to wear to the school run today!
I’m also joining in with the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge…H is for ( Hearts- obviously!!)
See you tomorrow xx

Oh my, so cute it makes my teeth ache (terrible American expression). And the good news is they look exactly like mittens (maybe that’s wishful thinking since I avoid the kitchen at all costs) Anyway, very clever embossing with a rolling pin (can’t get away from the kitchen) and that string is the icing on the cake *sigh*). Too many idioms in this post.

DARLING design!! You are too cute to use that rolling pin for the dry embossing…that would have saved people lots of $$! Those mittens are so cute! Well done, my friend!
