Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Lotus Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)
May 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm 60 comments

Hello everyone,
Hope you’re having a great day. I’m so happy to be joining in with Altenew’s blog hop celebrating their latest Paint-A-Flower series – the Lotus. This is a dreamy stamp with plenty to colour in and so this blog hop will have lots of inspiration and if you want to start at the beginning, then head over to the Altenew Blog and work your way from there. If you ‘ve come via the lovely Emily Midgett’s blog, a very special hello to you!
Here’s what I created with the set.

There’s so much you can do with the set; colouring the part that’s under the water differently, adding sparkles on the water and there’s plenty of things to practice your colouring on. I simply coloured with alcohol markers and then added lots of details using Prismacolor pencils.
If you want to get hold of the set, it’s available in the Altenew store here. (affiliate links). There are also some specially selected bundles that tie in perfectly. The first is a Paint-A-Flower: Lotus Outline & Artists’ Watercolor 24 Pan Set Bundle I have these watercolours and they’re really lovely and also a Paint-A-Flower: Lotus Outline & Watercolor Essential 12 Pan Set Bundle. Both will have you watercolouring in no time at all! If you really don’t want to miss out on any of the monthly series, you can sign up to a monthly subscription plan for the Paint-A-Flower. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in the monthly Paint-A-Flower releases and will receive a set each month – at a specially discounted price! ($15.99 →$12.99).

You can see that once I’d coloured it in, I decided to cut into 3 segments. It takes your image and transforms it a little- definitely adds interest to your design. The sentiment is wonderful; really thought provoking and inspiring.
There are $200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 05/28/2021 for a chance to win.
Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 05/30/2021.

Don’t you love those beautiful Lotus flowers and you can see how I’ve gently coloured some blue stripes across the front signifying that that’s the part under the water (or at least, that’s what I’ve tried to do!!).
All that’s left is to send you on your way to Joylita Dsouza’s blog– you’re bound to be in for a treat!
Thanks so much for coming to visit. I can’t wait to see lots of projects popping up online as people get this set and create their own magic with it. Below is the full list of everyone taking part in case you get lost along the way.
See you soon,
Keren x

Segmenting this stamp was a brilliant idea…it broadens the appeal of the image. The coloring is, as usual, perfect and I adore this sentiment.

Live how you cut the panels! So happy I subscribe and this set is in its way to me! Wish sayings related more to the image…a haiku about lotus or a saying by Buddha for example.
