Speed Crafters Challenge 2!

Afternoon!

Back again for another Speed Craft Challenge. This was more frustrating- but I learned tons doing it. It’s definitely a skill to be acquired & I now know what NOT to try and attempt.

I know my card looks remarkably simple- but I ran out of time and plonked it all together!

Here’s the rules again:

These are the guidelines (or rules, if you prefer!)
1. Craft for no more than 10 mins
2. Mention the time it took you to create your project in your post (you might be super-speedy and it might take you less time… and it would be interesting to know).
3. You can create ANY project whatsoever
4. You can get your supplies ready before you hit your timer

Here are some pointers of my own..

Don’t try and do die-cutting, heat embossing and Copic colouring in the allotted time- you will totally stress yourself out!

Oh, and some time was lost ‘colouring’ in the black part because my Memento ink is on its way out and needs re-inking!

Another slight confession…I didn’t quite hit 10 minutes!

sp2It was using a Lawn Fawn set ‘Wish you were here’ with the matching die ..oh & I die-cut a circle frame out of the map of the US- because it seemed a bit random I’d send a card with the US map to a non-American!

If you fancy seeing what the other girls did.. fly over to Ingrid’s and she’s got the list on her blog. We’re going to be adding a linky next time & get people to join in.. because people are enjoying it. However, don’t let the lack of linky stop you..if you fancy joining in, leave in a link in the comments & I’ll pop over to your blog and see you!

Better go, I’ve been sewing shower curtains together & I need to go and hang them!

See you soon xx

Oh man, this is excellent! I failed once again to complete my card. I think I need to take your advice and try to skip things like mod podge and texture paste! hugs 🙂

Hi Keren! Fantastic card!! Love your design.. What’s 3.74 secs between friends 😉 this is a lot of work for ten minutes and you should be proud! I try to stay way from embossing, that would result in burnt fingers for sure 🙂
I’m sure your curtains look fab! You are a woman of many talents! I will email you 😉 xxx

You made it. What’s 3 seconds among friends. I love the look and thought behind it. Timing a card is REALLY a challenge. I think it’s hard even though you have a plan…you never think the things you do take THAT much time.

Looks like a pretty fabulous creation for 10 mins to me 🙂 I can’t even imagine getting a card made in 10 mins….hmmm maybe it would do me good! I would have to get the stuff together in advance as it takes me at least 10 mins to find the stamp that I want to use 🙂

Another CAS winner Keren, like you told me last time, what’s a few extra seconds!

Definitely going to try next Mon as too exhausted at the moment after attending Event City show.

Excited we will get to link to future challenges, think this will go viral very soon!

Hope the shower curtain works well:-) xxx
