I thought I’d post a quick tutorial on how I made this card! Have you ever seen Cog & bolt bunting before?!! I’ve used some Lawn Fawn twine to act as the bunting string!- here’s how..

photo 1
Measure & cut out a front panel
photo 2
Add an acetate layer behind it.
photo 3
Die cut the ‘thanks’ out, centering the die carefully & securing with washi
photo 4
Remove the letters, making sure to keep the inner parts of the letters to re-attach inside the metal letters.
photo 5
Die cut the robots out using the matching dies.
photo 6
Die cut out from the metal sheeting.
photo 9
Line up the robot over the die-cut cardstock.
photo 10
Colour in images with alcohol markers
photo 7
Dab the robots onto the Versamark pad, sprinkle over with clear embossing powder & heat to set.

Add the characters onto the inside of the card. Stamp & die-cut the cogs! Die-cut a peacock bowtie. No self respecting robot is to be found without one of these!
Better go- have hungry mouths to feed and these school holidays are keeping me on my toes! x

So adorable…great “boy” card. So few of those around. This metal sure does add a lot to the design.
