Clearly Besotted December Teasers Day 4

Hey! We’re at Day 4 for the teasers. Have you enjoyed them? Which ones have made you smile the most?

Get out your circle dies again, we’re going circular! A really simple round card- just using 2 circle dies; one for the outer shape and one for the smaller one. You just fold a piece of card in half, add the circle die, but push it up slightly so a small part of the die goes past the card and you have a small part of the folded edge that doesn’t get die cut.

Corner stamps are so useful – and this Winter Corner set is just lovely. I wanted to use it in a different way. If you look closely at the bottom of the poinsettia that the penguin is sat on, you might notice some lines. They belong to the next part of the corner, but if you just colour in another petal shape- you have a straight image instead! Just another way of making your stamps stretch a little further.

I’ve never tried to sit on a poinsettia myself, but it looks pretty comfy !! I managed to scratch the green cardstock layer, and yes, I really should have heat embossed the sentiment as the ink hasn’t showed up very well, but we live and learn!

We’re nearly at release day, so do come back tomorrow for an easy non-card project.

Please visit Clearly Besotted’s blog, then Lisa and Michelle. We have lots of lovely guests ; Francine, Kitty and Alberto (@loshakeralberto on Instagram) so do visit them too.

Oh my heavens! It’s just so adorable and such a clever way to use the corners. The fussy cutting of the snowflake blows my mind – I need lessons from you. What do you mean you haven’t sat on a poinsettia before? Surely that’s what everyone does! Fabulous inspiration as always Keren! xx

This is so beautiful, Keren! Love the circle card and so clever the way you have used the corner image in a completely different shape! Love your colouring as always and I like the subtle sentiment! xx

Another adorable image on a shaped card…or is it a tag? So very cute.
