Clearly Besotted October Teasers Day 3

Hi everyone! We’re half way there! Today I’m showing one of the 3 special mix’n’match sets; Merry Mix & Match Meow! They’re a way of creating a larger Christmas tree image and it’s been so cleverly designed. Here’s the front of the card.

It’s a very minimal card- I first set out by stamping and colouring then fussy cutting the window then Stamping the same window image onto some acetate with Stazon. Then I stamped the window onto the front of the white card blank and trimmed around the outer line of the window.

Then just line the window up with the acetate and glue together. Glue the window onto the reverse of the front and add some lovely glitter. Also add a bauble so it shows through the window.

The inside (that you can see peeking through the window) looks like this..

..an utterly pawfect scene. The stamped image is split into 3 stamps- but the clever thing about it is that the other two sets – the Merry Mix & Match Squeak (mice) and Merry Mix & Match Woof (dogs) can be used in any of the three positions- so you could have a tree of 3 sets of animals or just one type like in the card above.

So many possibilities- don’t you just love it!

If you want a smaller tree- you can actually just stamp the two top images, add a rectangle of brown for the tree and you’ve got a smaller scale.
