Altenew Build-A-Flower: Indian Lotus Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends! Hope you’re having a lovely day. I’m so pleased to be joining Altenew celebrating their latest Build-A-Flower release today. A beautiful layering stamp set with matching dies. As happens in each blog hop, the hop begins at the Altenew Card Blog. A big welcome if you’ve just arrived from the awesome Virginia Lu’s blog.
Be true to yourself with this beautiful floral Indian Lotus flower stamp set. This floral layering stamp set has a gorgeous 6-layered bloom along with a detailed coordinating lotus leaf. The accompanying leaf may also be used as a lily pad for extra versatility on your crafting projects. The beautiful accompanying sentiments are related to appreciating yourself, having confidence, and being authentic, so you can send motivation to your loved ones. This is what I created with the new set.

I chose another ‘defying gravity’ card. It looks like it might be impossible to stand up, but really, it’s just got a wider base on the reverse of the card. You just snip a small section off the bottom of the card.

You can get hold of the stamp and die set from here. You can also get a bundle with inks with 5% off here. If you don’t want to miss any of the Build-A-Flower sets, you can get a monthly subscription here.
A little closer look at the flower..

Because you have the matching die, it’s easy to cut out extra layers so you can in effect do decoupage with it and gain some real height. You might be able to see some extra petals at the side which are simply another layer, with the petals trimmed off and inserted into the side.
Giveaway Prizes !
There is $200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 05/06/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 05/08/2021.

You can see how the leaves make the perfect resting place for the flowers. It really is a delightful set. I love the sentiments too- I’ve just simply white embossed this one onto matching cardstock. I used some pink, purples and yellows.
The next blog to visit is Laura Jane’s. I’m excited to see what she’s created. The full list of everyone in the blog hop is below so you can refer to it if you get lost.
Thankyou for visiting, and hope to see you again soon.

Holy moley…another fantastic design from your talented fingers. Love the “zero gravity” shaped card and those colors. The intricate lotus looks so clean and lovely within that graphic cardbase.

It’s just a fun name for a card that looks like it should topple over. Really it should probably be called ‘defying gravity’ !
