Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Cistus Layering Die Set & Gradient Cardstock Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone! How are you today?
I’m so pleased to be joining lots of wonderful crafters celebrating the launch of Craft-A-Flower Cistus Layering die set AND 4 new colour sets of Gradient Cardstock. If you want to start at the beginning please head over to the Altenew Card Blog but you may have arrived here from Jaycee Gaspar’s blog, so a big welcome if you have! First up is my project using the beautiful CAF Cistus set.
You might have noticed that I rarely choose the same colours as the flower traditionally is but I did decide to go with white (they’re often pink too). Creating depth with white is a little more tricky, but armed with some vellum to separate the layers, it adds dimension really easily and gives a wonderful softness.
That close-up hopefully gives you an idea of the different layers. If you fancy getting your hands on this set, please go to the Altenew store here or if you fancy a bundle with the Cistus set AND the new Gradient Cardstock, you can get them here. If you’re loving the monthly Craft-A-Flower series and fancy a monthly treat, there’s a subscription offer here. Speaking of the new gradient cardstock sets, I’ve created another project using just one of them; the ‘New Purple’ set.
You can see that this card is super easy. In fact it took about 10 minutes in total from start to finish. Perfect for those last minute cards. There are 4 beautiful collections; New Purple, Rose Petal, Coffee Break and Red Sunset. I have absolutely loved the fact that it takes all the guess work out of picking coordinating cardstock and are so brilliant for sets like Craft-A-Flower. The sentiment is from the Hello & Hugs die set. Don’t you love the graduation of colours in the set! The new gradient cardstock packs are available now!
Onto the all important Giveaway! There is $200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 04/13/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 04/15/2021.
Next up is to visit the fabulous Emily Midgett and I can’t wait to see what she’s created. If you get lost, I’ve included the whole list of the blogs on the hop below.
Hope to see you again soon,
Keren x

You’re still knocking my socks off. Those gorgeous white blooms are just perfectly showcased on the dramatic black card. Then to go in the completely opposite direction with the graphic, fabulous hello card just shows your tremendous versatility as a cardmaker.
