Winnie & Walter Nov Release Day 4

Morning!

How are you all? Today is the last day of Premieres from Winnie and Walter! I hope you’ve enjoyed them!

The release will be available much later today (Nov 10th) in store and shortly after in your favourite Winnie & Walter stockists.

Today I’ve got a set using stamps from the sets designed by Evelin T Designs ‘Sweet Holiday’ and ‘Winter Wishes’. This little guy is making the most of the snow!….

In an ideal world, the UK would get snow like this that magically disappeared really quickly! We get very little snow in reality and it doesn’t half make people lose their minds- we just aren’t used to it! Everyone wishes for a white Christmas, but it rarely happens.

I’ve used the die from Essentials: Lana Cutaways which always reminds me of a giant postage stamp! I handcut the hills and added a little White Blizzard Nuvo drops and coloured the puffin in with alcohol markers. Just a really easy card!

Do go and visit the blog to see what everyone else came up with!

See you soon and thanks for visiting!

Winnie and Walter Nov Premiere Day 3

Hello!

Happy Thursday! I’m here again with a few more sets from the new Winnie and Walter release. Here’s what I created!

I think the main star is the Cover Model: Do You See What I See? It’s one of the cleverest dies I know of as there are so many patterns- so the ‘do you see what I see’ is completely apt! Having spent a lot of time in the quilting and sewing world I love creating patterns and this 6 point star is typical of a quilt pattern.

The leaves and sentiment are from a new set ‘In Bloom: Victoria’s Very Merry Flowers with Lydia Evans’ (phew- that’s a mouthful!!). After stamping, I dotted some embossing ink on the leaves and then added some White embossing powder to look like a little snow. The gold ampersand is using a die from a previous set Typecast: Cary Number Cutaways

I’ve shown you a closeup for a caution! I used a transfer adhesive sheet- and never have any problems but really- always reduce the level of adhesive by sticking it to your jeans or something; just what I should have done- and because I didn’t, I lifted several of the shape’s top layers.

Do check out the Winnie and Walter blog to see what the rest of the team have created for today!

See you soon

Winnie & Walter Tour of The Stars

Hello! Welcome to the culmination of a creative week showcasing the wonderful new Winnie & Walter release. It all starts over on the blog and hopefully if you’re hopping in order, you’ll have come from the supremely creative Kelly Griglione

I’ve used one of the sets shown yesterday- ‘Seasons Tweetings’

See the igloo? I thought if I stamped it twice onto some acetate and adhered it together, I could create a human hamster ball to put little Mr Snowman in.

I’ve made the background using more Molotow masking pen dots onto a card base, adding distress inks over the top and then rubbing away the masking dots.

The next lovely star on the hop is the lovely Lydia Evans and I can’t wait to have a look around at everything that the other girls have produced.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing the new products that are all available from Winnie & Walter here now.

Do leave comments on the Winnie & Walter blog entries from the last week for a chance to win each day’s release plus one lucky winner will win the entire release!

For this blog hop, 5 randomly chosen commenters across all the blogs will win $30 each to spend in the W&W store. Comments must be left by Monday Nov 21st at noon CST!

See you soon xx

Winnie & Walter November Release Day 3

Welcome! It’s an exciting week as Winnie and Walter are having their long awaited release!img_9164

Today on the Winnie & Walter blog, there are several products being showcased. I’ve used two in this hanging wreath- Frenchie’s Festive Florals with Angelica Suarez & Carly Cutaways. The Carly Cutaways creates solid (or as in here) bauble style frames. There are inner circles which can be used on their own (and create a hole-pricked border). You can use them as simply tags after Christmas as without anything Christmassy on, they don’t look bauble-like!

The Frenchie’s Festive Florals come with a matching Cutaway set (dies) and this took all the hard work out of trimming (I did put rather a lot of individual elements). There’s a solid pear image, poinsettia, fir cone, lots of foliage, berries and snowflakes. A set that you will be able to use way beyond Christmas. Here’s a little close-up and you can probably see the cutout top part you can thread ribbon or twine through.

Do go and see the other products for today. My release products got stuck in customs for a few days, so I only got them yesterday and couldn’t spend as much time on them as I would have liked.

The release is available from Friday 18th at 10pm EST and we have a big old hop on the Saturday which all the creative team are being involved with- so don’t miss that!

Hope you’ve enjoyed seeing a little of this set- I’d love to hear too how your Christmas crafting plans are going!
