JoFY new release from PaperArtsy !

Hey everyone! How are you all this fine Saturday?!

It’s that glorious time of year where releases are coming thick and fast- mostly in time for Creativation!!

Jo Firth-Young has created some fab new stamp sets and stencils- and if you’d like to see some more do head over to the PaperArtsy blog . These sets have larger images and are just perfect for journalling or home decor!

I’ve done some sewing too- I’ll post that soon!

PaperArtsy Foiling Topic with Sticky Inks!

Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely day.

I’m back on the PaperArtsy blog today with a little simple way of foiling using inks- or Stazon to be precise. I’ve also got some samples of using alcohol inks to foil- so why not pop over!

Do tell me if you’ve ever tried foiling and what you think of the technique!

Thanks so much!

Hello everyone!

Hope you’re having a good day. I’m over on the PaperArtsy blog today with a post all about using Jo Firth-Young’s new Christmas stamps with Distress Oxide reinkers.

Here’s a little peek….

To see how Distress Oxides work with crackle glaze (& what happens to the colour) , I’d love you to visit the blog

Thanks so much!

Growth; An Altered Violin

Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a great day.

You’re probably wondering what that title is all about and I’m delighted to be over on the PaperArtsy blog tonight sharing what is probably one of my favourite creations in a very long time!

I’d love you to take a look and let me know what you think. I’ve actually got two more ( broken) violins waiting in the wings for a similar ( but different) treatment.

If any of you know of anyone or any place where I could pick up cheap or broken violins then I’m all ears!

I’ve been using the wonderful JoFy PaperArtsy stamps and I hope you enjoy what I’ve created.

Have a super weekend,

Love, Keren x

PaperArtsy Sept Release- JOFY sets

Hey! How are you?

I mentioned that there was another release. Last, but certainly not lease is Jo’s fantastic release.

She’s designed such different stamps- I ADORE the cloche- you can see how I’ve used it in a different way on the blog tonight

If you want to see all the samples up a little closer- check out the blog .

I can’t wait to use these again- and isn’t the colour combo so subtle but cool? Another one to use really soon!

Be back to see you next week with a round up of some of the projects I’ve been creating in the mags.

Have a lovely weekend,

JOFY 2014 Stamps Launch

Hi! Today there’s lots of excitement over on the Paper Artsy Blog tonight.
Each night this week, Paper Artsy are highlighting their brand new collections and there are several artists showing their new stamps. Tonight’s is all about Jo Firth Youngs beautiful new collection and I’ve got several sneak projects to show you with the complete reveal over on the blog. The card above was created using No.33 which is a mini set.

This tag was using JOFY 22 which is a larger set involving flowers, numbers, a tag, star and heart. A gorgeously versatile set that l’ll get tons of use from.
Those that know me will be surprised at 2 things;
1. That I’m doing CAS with PaperArtsy products and
2. That I’m using purple.
Well PaperArtsy is wanting more people to use their stamps. After all, a beautiful image is a beautiful image and can be used by different types of crafters. So go and have a look! You’ll love it!

Purple? My true nemesis. It’s true I really struggled with the colour scheme- not because it’s not lovely- I’ve used JOFY selected paints which are lovely to work with and you can stamp easily on top of the painted surface. You can see her new colours are gorgeous!
Another great discovery was the Smoothy card. You can find nice stamping card but it’s often pretty flimsy.
Smoothy comes in 2 weights..240gsm and 340gsm. Your stamped images are perfect on this and you can do one layer cards without compromising on your stamping.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the little peek- to see the stamp sets and the other designers inspiration- pop over here

Better go- see you soon xx
