Hi! Here today with another challenge. I’ve been creating but so very busy that I’ve not been able to post.
Here’s my take on the inspirational photo
I loved the blue tones and gold and picked out the little stars too. It’s an acetate ‘wreath’ using the teeny star die from Mama Elephants ‘Embellished Tag’ dies.
For the sentiment- I used the Holiday Labels- Merry from Waffle Flower . The metal is so wonderfully flexible that you can make spirals and even bows from it. Don’t ask how you’d transport it easily- it would need some protection!
This week Dazzling Diva Challenge #56 is an Inspirational Photo or Anything Goes. There are so many beautiful pieces to grab inspiration from and it’s all in what your eye is drawn towards in the picture. There is not right or wrong so have fun with it and play along.
So pull out your crafting supplies and make a project using our Inspirational Photo or Anything Goes. Then, share it with us by linking to the bottom of the post. You have until Tuesday, January 6th to enter. The winner will receive a $15 Metal Sheet Prize Pack.
Apart from all the usual Christmas prep- I’ve been quiet on the blog because of this little man…

This man..or monkey is called Humphrey! All the kids have put dibs on him. Thing is, each one takes 4-5 hours to hand sew and I’ve got 5 kids 😉
I’ll be pretty busy from now on- that’s not even wrapping any presents.
Will see you soon (after sewing!)

Hey! I know, two posts at once! And I forgot to post one yesterday that will have to come tomorrow!!!
I’ve chosen to make an ornament. I picked up some of these slate hearts dirt cheap recently to use as present tags. They may be a little heavy to use as that- but they’ll make cute ornaments for my home!
I’ve just sketched the letters in pencil and then added gold gel pen to pad out each word! Super easy!
I’ve used Glimmer Gold and Black Diamond metal

Please link up here – pull out your crafting supplies and make a project using a White & Gold theme. Then, share it with us by linking to the bottom of the post. You have until Tuesday, December 16th to enter. The winner will receive a $15 Metal voucher for the store.
Do join in and see what all the fuss about metal is!
See you tomorrow!
Keren xx

Hi! Hope you’re all having a lovely day. Being Wednesday- it’s a challenge day. Looking at that photo- what would you have created? I loved the texture on the bottles and went with the turquoise too. Also this week, the Add A Little Dazzle team were challenged to use either a ‘No More Shims’ mat or embossing paste. I chose the mat and created this project
You create a crafty sandwich; cutting base, stencil, metal, no more shims mat & then the top cutting plate. I used this amazing stencil
How gorgeous is that? Both the stencil and mat are available in the Add A Little Dazzle Boutique. Once I’d laid the metal over with black side down , it meant that the texture I’d created with the trees to the front was on the silver side. I created another piece with the black face up, which resulted in the piece as it is now. I used a Black Diamond metal sheet
I wanted to give it a moonlit look so decided to remove the colour from the surface of the metal. I used Stazon cleaner on tiny cottonbud sticks. It took a little while as I had to remove specific sections. I love the look of it and simply embellished with mini stars from Mama Elephant Embellished Tag cut with Perfect Peacock metal.
I needed a sentiment and dug out a set I’d created last year when I was dabbling in creating stamp sets. Tomorrow, it’s Black Friday in the US (& it’s creeping in here too).Add A Little Dazzle is going to have a special offer, so do check back on Friday
As usual, we’d love you join in with the challenge. Do have a go and creating something by being inspired by the picture. Link up here. I’ve now got a link in my sidebar for those that fancy having a try of the sheets. You can get them from here. See you back here Friday (or might even be before 😉 ) xx
