Hello! We’ve got to the end and it’s Release Day. Happy February y’all ! We’re still hopping ahead and are going towards spring and Easter. This set is ‘Easter Line Up’ and contains 3 different scenes.

After all the colouring this month, I went simple!

Who doesn’t love a tulip? One of the happiest flowers and those bunnies are so cute. Granted, they look like they’ve been on the sun-beds šŸ˜‰ I think I overdid it with the pinks! haha.

A little white dotting here and there, and there and over there too! The sentiment is just perfect!

Well it’s nearly time to be able to get the release….

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Rain Down Line Up

Hi everyone! Thanks for popping by and I hope you’re ok. Who doesn’t love the colours of rainbows! Rain Down Line Up has a rainbow background and two scenes, although I’ve only used the sky bit today.

I wanted to make it look like the doggies were all looking out of a window. The doggos are from the ‘Back To Front Line Up’ and stamping the min white onto black card. No colouring; so easy!

I’ve used a thin frame to act as a window frame and added lots of white dots to give a little dimension to the pups. The thing I found the most challenging was choosing the colours for the rainbow with only 4 layers.

If you don’t want to add lots of colour, just add a little around the edges- just like in the clouds. It looked a little bare so I added some blue watercolour to the sky. It’s quite an easy make.

As usual thereā€™s plenty more inspiration for you. Do visit Clearly Besotted either on their Facebook page or Instagram account.

Then thereā€™s my awesome teammateĀ MichelleĀ and our guests for this monthĀ Francine, Kitty and Alberto

Hope to see you tomorrow,

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Rain Down Corners

Hi everyone. How are you? Hope you had a lovely weekend! Hopefully it’s not raining where you are, but there’s a little rain in this lovely scene.

The set is called ‘Rain Down Corners’ and it took a tonne of colouring but was good fun. Again- it was those pesky raindrops that took an age, but you could just colour them plain blue and call it done!

I’ve coloured, shaded with pencil, highlighted, dotted and inked around the edges. The whole kitchen sink really! I wouldn’t normally take quite that time but it’s cute right?!

Sending rainbows seems the most perfect sentiment, but it’s the little wellies that I love the most!

Time now to visit Clearly Besotted either on theirĀ FacebookĀ page orĀ Instagram account.

Then please pop over to Ā MichelleĀ and our guests for this monthĀ Kitty, AlbertoĀ andĀ Francine.

Hope to see you tomorrow,

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Chirpy Plushies

Hey! Glad to have you back with me. Today is a fun one; using one of the new sets for February; Chirpy Plushies. It’s perfect for Easter, Springtime and also any new babies that you might want to create greetings for.

I decided to go with a shaker, but thought it might be fun to use the animals as the shaker bits!

It’s a shame one of the chicks is hiding, but it’s a relatively easy make and with some fun patterned paper in the background, it’s bright and cheerful too. Notice the background? It’s not an embossing folder, just using my scoreboard, making some embossed lines- quick and simple!

The tiny flowers are from the new set ‘Oops A Daisy’ and the sentiment is from ‘Rain Down Corners’ (also new for Feb).

There are still more cards and inspiration to come Pop over to Clearly Besotted either on theirĀ FacebookĀ page orĀ Instagram account.

Then please go to visit my totally lovely teammateĀ MichelleĀ

and our guests for this monthĀ , AlbertoĀ ,Ā Francine and Kitty

Hope to see you tomorrow,

Clearly Besotted January Release – Dim Sum Day

Happy New Year!

Do you make resolutions? Did you make any? I don’t really do resolutions, but I do ‘One Word’. I’m still deciding on the word to take with me, but it’s a toss-up between ‘forgive’ and ‘resilience’. Which word would you choose if you wanted to have an inspiring word for the year?

As it’s a New Year (and I know it’s not the Chinese New Year until the 22nd) but it got me thinking and the ‘Dim Sum Day’ set has the cutest little animals and I thought that the rabbit holding the chopsticks might look fabulous in a mini fortune cookie.

The papercrafted fortune cookie is quite easy and is better created in paper. There’s a tutorial of how to make a similar one here.

I wanted to tuck the fun sentiment in where the two edges met each other. Plus arrange the rabbit on the top.

You could whip up a whole clutch of these for a party, or put some fun sentiments that might inspire the recipients.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at the new sets. They really are a beautiful collection of stamps.

Please now go over to visit Clearly Besottedā€˜s blog (and on Instagram too) and then onto my favourite teamie Michelle Short. Lastly pop over to visit our fabulous guest designers Alberto Gava, Francine Vuilleme and Kitty Day to see some wonderful projects.

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Love Bugs

Hi! Happy Saturday! I hope you’re having a lovely week! We’ve still got two more projects to show you, and today I’m showing one character from the ‘Love Bug’ set. Ladybirds are such fascinating creatures and so beautiful too. I’ve only done another simple project. I think we’re all a bit ‘created out’ by the time it gets to Christmas. I certainly want to do something a little different for sure.

I dug out a simple pillow box die. You can get a free template here.

I did some simple colouring and created a little texture using pencil. The cat reminds a little of a cute and naughty tabby that I know. He should be browner, but I went a little rogue with the colour scheme.

Remember when everything had ribbon on? I’ve used it twice this month and I’m starting a ‘bring back ribbon’ campaign šŸ˜‰

Ribbon adds a little luxury and if you use it sparingly, it can give a real little pop of colour. I think I might treat myself to getter a whole rainbow of ribbon.

I love the patterned paper and the stripes so much. A really simple project. If you’re a beginner, this would be a great starter project for you.

We’ve only got one more day before the January Release is live and a brand-new Year is upon us. So much potential and so many brand-new choices to be made.

I’ll hope you’ll continue on to see more projects…by visiting Clearly Besotted either on theirĀ FacebookĀ page orĀ Instagram account.

Then thereā€™s my fabulous teammateĀ MichelleĀ and our guests for this monthĀ Kitty, AlbertoĀ andĀ Francine.

Please come back again tomorrow, for the tiniest treat of them all!

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Puppy Love

Hello! Are any of you animal lovers? Well you’ll love this new set ‘Puppy Love’; cute dogs, fab puns and a lovely castle scene (well because they all think they’re royalty!). Following on with the dimensional projects, I have a teeny ‘milk carton’ styled project that you could put a little collection of dog treats inside.

It only measures about 3cm x 7.5cm- so you see it really is miniscule but is the perfect foil for one of the tiny canines. He looks a little forlorn; maybe he needs some little treats himself!

Sometimes you don’t need to go big or go home. Use tiny boxes or mini tags, or little envelopes to contain a tiny note.

I’ve used an old die to make the box but it’s super easy to make one. Click here for a free printable / cut file. What will you make with yours?

I hope you’ve got some ideas percolating around your head. In the meanwhile, I’m hoping to get a little time to do some creating just for the fun of it!

Before tomorrow rolls around, do find time to visit Clearly Besotted either on theirĀ FacebookĀ page orĀ Instagram account.

Then thereā€™s my awesome teammateĀ MichelleĀ and our guests for this monthĀ Francine, Kitty and Alberto.

Take care,

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Balloon Bunch Love

Hello again! Finished the tub of Quality Street / Heroes yet? I doubt I’ll get a look-in in our house, but I’ve always got my own secret stash I can rely on!

Today I’m showing another non-card project- in fact, there are no cards whatsoever in this release. I wanted to do something completely different. I dug out my ‘Train Case’ die by Eileen Hull and made a box for the little guys in ‘Balloon Bunch Love’ to try and climb up and inside..

This little characters are so full of mischief and I suspect that the chick is actually the ringleader!! She is trying to get inside to see what treasures are lurking inside but needs a bit of a ‘leg-up’ from bear. Cat is two steps ahead but is more interested in the view from the top!

I was trying to decide what to put in here. It would make the perfect receptacle for some kitty gifts. My second eldest daughter volunteers with an animal rescue charity and fosters rescues so this might make a good present for some of her many animals!!

These animals are fun to colour and there are so many occasions you could use them for. The set has balloons which the characters can hang from, but I decided to go a different route instead. Hope it gives you some ideas of how to use it!

As usual thereā€™s plenty more inspiration for you. Do visit Clearly Besotted either on their Facebook page or Instagram account.

Then thereā€™s my awesome teammateĀ MichelleĀ and our guests for this monthĀ Kitty, AlbertoĀ andĀ Francine.

Hope to see you tomorrow,

Clearly Besotted Release Day – Frozen Friends

Hey! Itā€™s Release Day! We’re looking at the Frozen Friends stamp set today. A set chocka full of fun and favourite characters!

Thereā€™s a whole tonne of magic in the air in this little scene. As usual, Clearly Besotted have added lots of little detail stamps like the snowflakes and icy ‘whooshes’. I think I might have gone a little mad with the gel pen!

The snowman seems surprised by the whoosh of icy magic emitting from the castle. He can almost taste the glittery shards and is waiting for his friend to come out and play.

Lots of pen work and glitter. Love those little snowflakes too! Blue is not a colour I used very much, so I had to add a little pop of colour with the orange layer. I really have enjoyed working with these sets. I hope you do too.

Are you still looking for Christmassy sets or is your eye firmly beyond towards Spring?

Hope to see you again soon,

Keren x

Clearly Besotted Teasers – Dainty Dandelions

Weā€™re getting closer to release day and today weā€™re looking ahead to spring. Haha. I know weā€™re not even into Christmas yet, but Iā€™m all for warmer days and flowers! Today us the Dainty Dandelions set, and, well they don’t have to be dandelion colours!

I didnā€™t want to do traditional dandelions, whereā€™s the fun in that?! I’ve just added lots of colour with pinks, oranges and yellows, outlining them all some aqua coloured Prismacolor pencil adding depth.

The sentiment is from last month’s release ‘Blooming Poppy Plushies’ and seemed a good fit for this fun little card.

These little friends are so happy jumping in and out of the flowers! So many happy moments!

Please now go over to visit Clearly Besottedā€˜s blog (and on Instagram too) and then onto my lovely teamie Michelle Short. Lastly pop over to visit our fabulous guest designers Kitty Day and Francine Vuilleme and to see some inspirational projects.

Tomorrow it’s Release Day- be sure to pop back for a little icy magic!
