Clearly Besotted July Release Teasers Day 4

Teaser Time

Thankyou for all your lovely comments and for visiting. It’s Day 4 of the Clearly Besotted Teasers already and today I’m showing my favourite set ‘Trouble In A Tutu’IMG_5984

It’s kind of a hippo ballerina version of soldiers falling out of the sky on ropes. Don’t be fooled by their cuteness. These girls mean business!

The sky clouds are part of the set, as is the gorgeous bannery thing! Trouble in a Tutu is perfect for any little girl, or big girl with a sense of humour!

Next up, is the set ‘Cheering For You’. Obviously I needed to create cheerleaders in formation, and then some. Do you reckon this cheerleader pack is big enough?!

IMG_5979

There’s always one, isn’t there! One who didn’t quite get the memo and is doing her own thing. I think I prefer to call it uniqueness and individuality (see the panda left on the second row!).

The girl on top? Well she’s giving it 110%. I just wish I could do splits like that.

Maybe I should join a cheer squad.

Maybe I’ll just fluff up the pompoms!

These sets are just so.much.fun!

Do go and visit the Clearly Besotted Blog and see what the other gals came up with. I can’t wait to see.

One more sleep until Release Day!! xx

Clearly Besotted July Teasers Day 3

Teaser Time

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog with another Clearly Besotted Teaser Day. This June release is really varied and in complete contrast to yesterday, we’ve got a not so cute, but just as versatile set based around feathers and called Tickle My Fancy.

IMG_5977

First up- contemporary and fun. Love the way that the feathers give such beautiful movement to the card- they look like they’re floating by virtue of the fact that you know they’re feathers!

IMG_5986

I’ve just added a little watercolour marker and some simple stamping. Something anyone could do.

Next up- a card suitable for anyone. Lose the pink and it’s a great ‘guys’ card.

IMG_5996

The feathers are actually heat embossed onto Dura-Lar using a Rose gold embossing powder. There’s no warping like you often get with adding heat to vellum so you heat emboss the living daylights out of this product! As I turned them over, I liked the softer effect with a little warmth of tone that came through, so used them the wrong way around!

IMG_5991

Adding a smattering of sequins just finishes off the design; I’ve not done anything challenging technique-wise here either.

The last card is using some proper watercolour over the white embossed feathers. A really messy haphazard effect that anyone can get.

IMG_5995

I’ve added some more of the heat embossed Dura-Lar feathers to finish the card off. I wanted to convey the effect of leaves with this project. If you don’t include the feather bases, they really look like beautiful leaves!

IMG_5994

Hope you’ve enjoyed a little peek at this set. The sentiments are from this set too!

Do pop over and see Stephanie and the girl’s projects on the blog. You’ll be glad you did!

See you tomorrow for cuteness corner!

Clearly Besotted July Teasers Day 2

Teaser Time

Hey! Welcome to Day 2 of the Clearly Besotted July Release teasers!

Today I’m just showing you one set. Probably my second favourite set of the bunch. It’s called Colour Chameleon and has the cutest little guys inIMG_5980

Little Chummy (it could be his real name!) is sat chilling on a leaf and is balancing a paintbrush from the end of a leaf. Obviously the paintbrush is dripping a beautiful rainbow of colour .

IMG_5987Isn’t he just so sweet.

The next image is of Chummy with a crayon. You could have him making a splash of colour with some of the colour ‘swipe’ stamps but I thought he was clinging onto the crayon rather tightly and maybe just maybe he was jetting off to space on his crayon rocket.

IMG_5978

The clouds aren’t from this set (they’re from the ‘Trouble in a Tutu) set and I’ve stamped them in Pearl Sky Blue Brilliance. Brilliance is a great pad, as it’s easy to pull colour away from the stamped lines and create a soft cloud effect.

IMG_5988

I’ve just swiped coloured inkpads over the solid stamp and then trimmed out. I hope the jets give way soon as poor Chummy is holding on for dear life!

Do visit the Clearly Besotted blog to see what Stephanie and the rest of the team ┬áplus two very special guests have created. I love seeing everyone’s take on each set!

See you tomorrow

xx
