Clearly Besotted May Release Day

It’s arrived…ta-daah! Release Day is here. You can feel the excitement mounting as people are counting down to this evening to grab their new favourite sets.
Normally I’d be showing a quick card that I’d produced…but today I have two. One idea is far better than the other but one is better executed.
Both projects are from the new set ‘School Day Play’. The replacement project is the bunny with his crayon rocket. Give a kid a pack of crayons and you unleash their imagination.

Want to see the first effort?
Well I like the concept much better. I think the long tall design just didn’t work. Too much maths and not enough colour ( sounds like the story of my school days!!)

I’d kind of had my eldest son in mind when I made this- he’s doing A Level Maths and it might as well be A Level Monkey Dialect for all I’d understand it. He’s nearly at his A level exams and he just needs to keep learning..and revising. Anyhow, I didn’t really like it, so ditched it in favour of crayon bunny.

The clouds are using the super useful Cloudy Days stencil from Clearly Besotted. We use it a lot on in our projects because it’s so good!

I do hope you’ve enjoyed the teasers this month. We’ve all certainly enjoyed your commenting and likes.
There’s more to see from Clearly Besotted‘s blog (and on Instagram too) and Michelle Short who has her blog post plus her video and then pop over to see our wonderful guest designers Kitty Day, Francine Vuilleme, and Alberto Gava.
As usual, the release goes live at 8pm GMT. All sets are available tonight on the Clearly Besotted store and also from Simon Says Stamp , Art Creatiu, Cloud 9 Crafts and Card Nouveau too.
Don’t forget to enter into the giant giveaway over on Clearly Besotted’s Facebook page. It’s a fabulous opportunity to win the whole release!
Thankyou for being with me again this month.
See you soon xx

I think these are both amazing, Keren! I really like the one that you are not keen on. What a great idea to write the maths equations on the paper! The bunny on the crayon rocket though? That just puts a smile on my face! So fun! xx
