Altenew 8th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 2 + Giveaway (over $2,000 in Total Prizes)

Hello everyone! I’m so pleased to be part of Altenew’s Birthday hop. They’re turning 8 and they’ve days of inspiration and prizes. I’ve created a simple card for this hop and I’m also going to add a couple of my favourite projects from the past year.

My card uses the Itty Bitty Flowers die and the Reflections Die. I love playing around with transparency and layers so thought adding the Reflections die, die cut from vellum adds texture without making the project look too busy. The stamped sentiment is from the Giant Bellflower Stamp Set

If you look more closely at the card, you’ll see that I sewed through the layer (before adhering to the card base) using my sewing machine but using 3 different widths of stitches so it gives more interest. It’s a quick card to create, just finish with some black gel pen faux splatters.
