Clearly Besotted December Teasers Day 1

Hello everyone! How have you been? Hope your day is going well. It’s time for the teasers again; 5 days of projects ending on the 5th day (which is December 1st) which is the December release day. The team (plus other special guests) will be showing some inspiring ideas using the 6 brand new sets.

Today I’m using ‘Santa Claws’. The sentiments are always fun – Christmas is definitely not time to be shellfish!!! My theme for this month is shaped cards. I’ve only used simple dies like circle ones so you can easily replicate these.

I thought of a dome or porthole type of card and just blended in some Distress Ink for the background. The sea foliage and crab are all coloured in with Copic markers and the bubbles are easy to create with a white gel pen.

I do love cards that go off the page, and this is just a frame on a circle die cut and attached to the top part of a tent folded card.

You can make this card easily with other shapes and other scenes, and I had fun creating it.

As we always do with the teasers, I’ll be sending you on your way to the rest of my teamies. Please go to Clearly Besotted’s blog, then Michelle and Lisa. We have lots of lovely guests ; Francine, Kitty and Alberto (@loshakeralberto on Instagram) so do pay them a visit.

Do pop by tomorrow, I’ve got plenty more to share,

Keren x

This sounds like a fun theme for your teasers! I so rarely have things hanging off my card but always love seeing them when you do them. Lovely idea of a porthole, your colouring is beautiful and the scene is delightful Keren xx

What a fun fold for your card and your skill with the coloring is spot on. So cute.
