Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Seasonal Blooms Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

July 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm 71 comments

Hello everyone. Hope you’re well. Today sees something doubly new. New products and a new crafting kit. You know sometimes you don’t want to choose, you just want something all picked out and organised ready for you! Well the Craft Your Life project kit is exactly that. (all the following links are affiliate ones).

As with every blog hop; there’s a start.. at Altenew’s Card Blog and you might have come from Daniel Diaz’s blog, so welcome!

I’ve a few projects to show you – here’s the first one.

It’s a note holder- all you need is watercolour paper/cardstock, some substantial cardstock for the backing, the lovely new Kit plus the Artists Watercolour Half Pan Set. It makes a lovely gift. Here’s how – firstly watercolour after white heat embossing.

Add score lines around the image about 2cm around the edges and bottom.

Next use the matching die to cut out the edges..

Next, add glue to the middle portion of the reverse..plus the back of the turned up flaps ( cutting off the corners too).

Now adhere onto some substantial cardstock. Add some pieces of watercolour cardstock to either side of the embossing folder and stack them into the holder.

You can get the Craft Your Life Project Kit whilst stocks last or sign up for the monthly subscription.

What’s in the Kit?

Introducing Altenew’s first-ever Craft Your Life Project Kit an exciting monthly package that is sure to get the creative juices flowing! Featuring a 6×8 stamp set, coordinating die set, as well as a stencil and embossing folder to fit the theme, this project kit has almost everything you need to start crafting. Just add ink and cardstock, and you’ll be good to go!

This project kit contains the following exclusive products:

– one 6″ x 8″ clear stamp set containing 13 stamps made in the USA from high-quality photopolymer

– nine coordinating dies

– one coordinating simple coloring stencil set containing 3 stencils

– one 6×6 3D embossing folder

Note: These products are NOT sold separately.

What’s in the Monthly Subscription?

Get early access to our NEW Craft Your Life Project Kit before it is released on our store by subscribing to our Craft Your Life Project Kit Monthly Subscription Plan! (it includes 14% off).

Don’t worry if the project kit goes out of stock! When you are subscribed to the monthly subscription, you are guaranteed a spot in our New Craft Your Life Project Kit each month.

The Craft Your Life Project Kit comes with a 6 x 8 Stamp set and its coordinating Die Set, Stencil, and Embossing Folder. Note that the items included in this kit are not sold separately.

The price of the subscription is $49.99/ month plus shipping and tax (calculated based on the location of the shipping address). This will Auto-renew every month until it is cancelled.

I used the embossing folder and the matching stencil to create a half and half card. Just by stencilling, then embossing, die cutting the image and then trimming it in half and stacking it on a small card base. The embossing folder creates such amazing texture.

Giveaway Prizes

$300 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $25 gift certificate to 8 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 07/18/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 10 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 07/20/2021.

I also created a simple tag using the embossing stencil and a little watercolouring.

http://mylittleattic.com/altenew-project-life-kit-seasonal-blooms-stamp-die-embossing-folder-and-stencil-release/All that’s left to do is send you on your way onto the next stop at Nenette S. Madero‘s blog. I’m looking forward to seeing what beautiful projects she’s created.

Thanks for joining me, and the full list of everyone in the blog hop is below x

You are innovative in all of your designs for this hop. I am TRULY inspired! I really like the idea of the notecard holder and can see many of my embossing folders put to a new use. 🙂 The half & half card is so unique. Did you adhere the embossed design to an acetate card base? And the tag you created is so soft and beautiful with the selective watercoloring technique you used. Thank you for sharing.

What a lovely comment! No- the half and half card is simply attached to a card measuring roughly 4cm x 14cm. The card came about as I had a folded scrap I’d cut off another card base. Hope that makes sense! x
