Clearly Besotted May Teasers Day 4

Hello again, we’re nearing the end of the teasers, only one more day until the release. It’s always exciting to see what everyone else has created and it amazes me how we can all take similar images and go in such different directions. Today’s set is called ‘Book Smart’ and depending on the books that we choose to read we can certainly educate ourselves.

I used to read a lot. I remember the joy of going to a library and choosing books and then running out of the books to read before it time was go back. I miss reading- sometimes we’re too busy, but I set myself a goal over Christmas and in the first few week between then and past the New Year I read two whole books. Isn’t it wonderful losing yourself in an imaginary world amidst a really entertaining story. This fox is doing just the same and hasn’t even noticed the two bluebirds who are juggling hearts around him.

Aren’t the characters gorgeous. I coloured them in with alcohol inks and then added some detailing with Prismacolors. Easy to do. The bark on the trees was more of a challenge but it’s good to stretch yourself sometimes.

I’m sure the stone next to the fallen log is simply supposed to be a spotty stone, but, I thought it could be a large ladybird too!
