Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Antique Rose Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

March 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm 72 comments

Hello everyone! How are you doing? If you’ve arrived here via my lovely friend Virginia Lu, then an extra welcome!

I’m excited to be joining a bunch of other talented designers celebrating the release of the new Antique Rose Craft-A-Flower with a fun blog hop! I had a ball creating with this fab die set..

Isn’t it a beauty! I can imagine this set used for tonnes of occasions, but wouldn’t it make perfect wedding invites and table decorations.. so much potential! It’s a multi layered set that’s super easy to put together.

I do get bored keeping to the constraints of the normal card area and always try to push my elements ‘off the card’. You need a little acetate or strong card ‘scaffolding’ but it certainly makes a statement! I’ve used some extra vellum to give a softness to the teal leaves, and played around with positions of the different pieces of cardstock to give more interest to the design.

If you want to get your hands on these lovely dies, do head over to the Altenew Store Craft-A-Flower: Antique Rose Layering Die Set. You can also pick up a Craft-A-Flower: Antique Rose Layering Die Set & Gradient Cardstock Bundle ( this has 5% off). If you love the look of these dies, Altenew also do a Craft-A-Flower Monthly Subscription Plan, which is a monthly subscription plan for the Craft-A-Flower die set. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in the monthly Craft-A-Flower releases and will receive a set each month – at a specially discounted price! ($35.99 →$29.99).

So- what next?! If you want to start at the beginning of the blog hop, go to the Altenew Card Blog…and as for the giveaway…

….there is $200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 03/12/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 03/15/2021.

Now all that is left is for you to head over to the fabulous Emily Midgett and see what amazing project she’s created.

Thanks for joining me today, and I’ll see you soon,

Keren x

This is, most definitely, a Keren look. The combination of colors on the roses is simply fantastic…all those petals combined with the wisp, tendril-like leaves. Enough to take the recipient’s breath away.
