Clearly Besotted March Teasers Day 2 !

Welcome back friends. Are you wondering what’s coming next ? We are looking at a super fun set today-‘All Round Farm Fun’

As I was designing this card, I had a conversation with one of my daughters who is vegan. She was insisting that this wasn’t an animal farm, but perhaps an animal sanctuary!! Well I think that’s a great idea, which is why the ‘farmer’ is dressed as she is and is simply busy caring for her group of abandoned farmyard animals!

The card base was pretty simple. Just a drawn rectangle and then sketched triangle drawn over the rectangle and trimmed out. The barn doors were just white rectangles with slightly smaller red rectangles and then thin strips of cardstock attached diagonally. No measuring, just keeping it simple.

There are lots of farmyard animals in the set. I love the little sheep peeking out of the upper level in the barn. There are other images that I’ve not used and I can imagine a whole host of Papercrafting projects just from this set. It’s called farmyard fun but I have distinct memories of staying at a family friend’s farm and one of my legs disappearing down a hole filled with animal slurry. It went down my wellies and well..let’s just say that it wasn’t fun!
I’m sure that there are plenty of fun experiences to be had at farms, and if you’ve got images like this, then you’re bound to have a good time!
Please do visit Clearly Besotted’s blog then onto Lisa. We have our two lovely guests with us this month; Mindy Baxter and Adelle Emery so be sure to visit and give them some love!
I’ll see you tomorrow for some al fresco dining!

Wow! This is amazing, Keren! I love how you created the barn and as a vegetarian, I agree with your daughter. It’s definitely an animal sanctuary. Those animals look happy! 🙂 xx

Of course you had to make a barn!!! I love the idea of an animal sanctuary too, such a clever card and packed with cuteness. The sheep at the top though! I did laugh at the slurry, our house has been built over a sileage pit. Says it all given all the problems we’ve had!! Xx

Sanctuary is definitely a better idea…this little caretaker is as adorable as her critters. The barn is perfect. Charming little scene. Anothe Karen masterpiece.
