Clearly Besotted March Teasers Day 1

March 1, 2021 at 8:00 am 10 comments

Hello! Hope you’re getting used to the new date schedule for the Clearly Besotted Release. We’re doing each teaser through to the release on March 5th.

Today I’m starting off with the set ‘Smooth Sailing’. Lots of lovely sea faring critters and some wonderfully punny sentiments. I decided to make the boat and little fishing chick the focal point.

Isn’t it such a gorgeous set. I love the story book feel to this set. The chicken wanted to go fishing until the little fish dodged the hook.

The little fish keeps jumping out of the sea and avoiding the little fisherman’s rod. In fact these two made friends and fisherman chick has agreed not to fish for food today.

The sentiment is just perfect for me to send but the images would equally be fab for a kid’s card too. It’s coloured mostly using alcohol markers but have used a watercolour pen to add the wash around the image.

As usual, please visit Clearly Besotted’s blog then onto Lisa. Michelle is having a month off (apart from her usual release video) but we have two lovely guests with us this month; Mindy Baxter and Adelle Emery so be sure to visit and give them some love!

Tomorrow we go for a visit to Madame McDonald!

See you then x

Keren, I’ll have you know that THIS chick is quite the fisherwoman – but even I would leave that darling little fish to play another day!

Woohoo, the coloring continues to be stellar. This little scene was a delight to wake up to this morning. Never saw a chicken sailor before but this one is adorable.
