Clearly Besotted February Teasers Day 3

Mid way through- and so many lovely sets to love! Today we’re heading back to the sets I showed on the first day… ‘Clearly Contained’ and ‘Clearly Contained Contents’.

I just love cloches. Don’t know what it is about it them, but I always want to buy them when I see them!! Maybe it’s a hark back to Victoriana or specimen jars, but I had to add in some plants. They reminded me of terrariums which everyone seemed to have when I was a kid. I ‘nicked’ the tiny heart from the new ‘Ring Around Spring’ set and championed the tiny stamps for a change. The cloche needed something more!

I coloured the plants using alcohol markers and then added some watercolour around the edges.

The gorgeous butterflies are from the Clearly Contained Cuts set, and I just cut them out and added some little dots for their flight trails.

You can possibly see where I dodged part of it up. I used Memento ink which isn’t waterproof so no good for the watercolour ( except I avoided it with the paint) but forgot about the glitter pen. So some of the ink began to run….🤦‍♀️!

Anyhow I added some white gel pen over the run bits and it disguised it mostly! The ‘table’ is some spare wood effect paper I had laying around.
