Clearly Besotted April Teasers Day 1

Hello lovely friends! It’s nearly April, and despite the unrest felt around the world, I have a few projects over the next 5 days to brighten your little corner of the world!
We’re beginning with the loveliest set..’parachuting plushies’. As you would imagine, it’s exactly that…cute animals wafting through the air!

Aren’t they just so much fun!! I decided to hang them off the edge as they’d have looked too squished shoved onto the space. Simple stamping and simple colouring. I’ve used my Tonic Nuvo Alcohol pens.
For the background, I dug out my favourite Clearly Besotted stencil : Cloudy Days. I used this a lot and really recommend it. I turn it over and use at an angle to create different shapes of clouds. After I’d created the background, I accentuated the cloud shapes with some translucent glitter. Of course clouds are bedecked with glitter!!

I’ve coloured the bunnies the same colour and let the parachutes add the vibrancy. I carefully cut out the insides of the parachute strings using a craft knife. Add in black and white marker details.

It’s just a lovely set with lots of fun sentiments. I think this sentiment is for all of us, no matter where we live or what our situation is.
Be brave.
And be kind.
As usual, we’d love you to visit the Clearly Besotted blog, then to see Michelle and Lisa. We have a lovely guest designer this month – Rina Glait, so do go and give her some love too!
See you tomorrow with something magical!
Keren xx

Adorable card Keren, love the touches of glitter on the clouds and the bright parachutes as a contrast. And you can never have too much glitter can you! I went down the route of using a craft knife to cut inside the strings too. Just hope no little bunnies were hurt in mine as one of the strings is a little loose!! Haha

This is so totally cute. I love the added detail on the clouds with all that sparkle. Stay safe too and it’s good to see all your art work in times of trial xx
