Clearly Besotted June Teasers Day 1

Hello lovely people!

It’s my pleasure to be bringing you teasers in anticipation of the June Release from Clearly Besotted. Today there are no stories (I felt that creating stories about peonies was possibly one step too far!!). It is lovely to be inking up florals again; Clearly Besotted are so well known for gorgeous flower stamps and this set ‘Pick A Peony’ is a corker!

I’ve given it a really simple treatment. Just stamped with Memento ink and coloured with Nuvo alcohol markers. Once I’d trimmed it out, I created a partially inked background using a brand new stencil out this month; Honeycomb Crunch stencil. I’m going to get lots of use from this (and the other two releasing alongside it).

I added some Distress and Distress Oxide inks onto the stencil.

The sentiment is from another new release: Simply Said. It’s a fab collection of really useful sentiments that you’ll find invaluable for a myriad of occasions. Once I’d stencilled, I traced around the floral shape and added a light gray alcohol marker to give a gentile shadow. You can’t really see it because of the real sun! 😉

Last, but not least, I added some Nuvo Dandelion Drops and a little white gel pen to add details and finish it off.

We’re all back tomorrow, and I have some cuties to show you!

Do go along to the Clearly Besotted blog and then pop over to see Michelle & Lisa

See you soon,

Keren xx

We used the same sets today Keren! What an absolutely beautiful card, I adore those colours together and the stencilling behind. It’s so pretty, and I agree CB make the most beautiful florals. I must look through my Copics and see whether I can conjure up a similar palette. Beautiful card ❤️❤️❤️
