Clearly Besotted March Release Teasers Day 3

Hey! Hope you’re all feeling the love this morning (or afternoon, or evening!!). Today it’s all about love..of the cute, tiny squishy, baby powder smelling kind! The set is called Baby Love and I can already hear you singing that song! These aren’t cards and quite possibly the quickest tags I’ve ever made. They’re using my ‘scribble’ technique- yes, literally slop a little watercolour over and call it DONE!! 😂

I’ve also used the sentiment set ‘Mini Calligraphy’ which you can create some sentiments hence ‘we wish you ..a happy birthday’ and I totally wanted to say Christmas there!!

The secret to this ‘complex’ ( not!!) technique is to leave enough areas without colour that they are the highlights and they leave the cuties looking dimensional without all that careful colouring. I knocked these out in about 5 minutes- so really speedy!

The tags are using the ‘Tag Along’ die set also from Clearly Besotted which is such a useful set! The ribbon is some seam ribbon that I’ve just wet and crinkled and dried scrunched up.

Well- I reckon that’s me sorted. More loveliness from the terrific trio aka as Stephanie from the Clearly Besotted blog and then onto Michelle and Lisa.

See you once more tomorrow with a little more of the robots!!

Keren xx

Fabulous! And inspiring and a brilliant way of showing you don’t have to spend hours to get great watercolouring. I love the style of it, it’s artsy and they really do like dimensional. I shall try this! Xx

Oh these are wonderful, Keren! So cute and your watercolouring is amazing! It gives so much depth to the images, you would have never known it was quick unless you mentioned it. It’s so effective xx

Five minutes??? Really??? Look as though they took forever to paint…no, wait a minute…that would be me. Anyway, I’m going to try this method. It makes these pups look so dimensional. I’m so in awe of your talents. Maybe someday some of that will rub off on me if I look at yours enough.

Fantastic style of watercolouring, looks like it takes ages to do not 5 mins. Fantastic tags, must invest in these soon. Thank you for sharing x

I love your technique! It’s so clever and simple. I spend way too much time overthinking water colouring xx
