Clearly Besotted March Release Teasers Day 2

Hello! Or tweet tweet!!

It’s birds today. I’m known for being a bird brain at times, but I wouldn’t mind it I had feathers like these…

These little cuties are from the set ‘Budgie Buddies’ and I love them. I tried colouring with two non blendy colours- I kinda like the effect created between the two! I’m sure there’s a better way of blending- so someone enlighten me!!

I knew they had to sit on a branch of sorts and I looked for some patterned paper. The striped paper reminded me of a bird cage, so that’s what I used! One of the best things about photopolymer stamps is that you can temporarily shape them- and that’s how I did the sentiment

I just added lots of little sparkly dots thanks to my gel pen and positioned one of the budgies upside down!! I think that would be me- except I don’t have a tonne of upper body strength πŸ˜‚

I added some hearts, because there’s always someone we love that could do with an encouraging card!

If you’ve liked what you’ve seen so far, do hop over to the Clearly Besotted blog and then onto Luscious Lisa and Magnanimous Michelle ( it’s ok girls, I’m not sure there are many ‘m’ and ‘l’ words left! πŸ˜‰)

See yous ( as they say in Liverpool) tomorrow!

Keren x

Aww, this is so cute! I love the little birds perched on the branch and the paper really does look like a cage! Love how you have coloured the birds. Haha! I love the different names that you give us! So funny! xx

Ahhhh so tweet! Fabulous use of the stripey paper and I like the blending between the two colours Keren. I feel like the upside down one most days haha! Super cute card. And I don’t mind being called Luscious. Not sure I look quite like that sitting here in my jammies! Xx

Great to use the stripes as bird cage theme. The blending really works to give that sort feathered look on their bellies. Love the upside down one, so tweet ! Thank you for sharing them x

I’m thinking that you made exactly the right choice of patterned paper…it is reminiscent of a cage. But the stars of the show are these gorgeous little birds…even the one who appears to be trying to look at his undercarriage. Such an adorable and beautifully colored card.

Hahaha! This is a brilliant post, and that budgie upside down? What I feel like most days!! Needs to do pilates with me to get the upper body strength, and a bit of weight lifting πŸ˜‰ The epithets you’ve given Lisa and Michelle are hilarious. Keep ’em coming!
