Clearly Besotted December Teasers Day 1

Hello lovely Clearly Besotted fans and regular readers. Today marks the start of the teasers and I’m here with a quick and easy …ahemm… well it’s not quick, but it’s straightforward!!

I’ve combined two new sets and one older stamp set- and even better; it’s on offer! Be Merry (the wreath set) is available here. It’s only £2.48- so a bargain too.

I’ve added lights in on the reverse- which I’ll show you but when it’s lit up, it looks like this!

I stamped, coloured and trimmed out the new Festive Fillers set. I cut out some rectangles from the piece of cardstock, added a layer of acetate to the reverse and then added some little triangles of glitter to look like snow collected at the corner of the window.

You can see the ‘snow’ in the windows and where the lights are positioned. It was easy to place and I just added sellotape to secure it. The lights are widely available and these were £1 so pretty inexpensive for a special card.

The sentiment is using another of the new sets; Cheerful Calligraphy. Such a gorgeous scripty font. I added a little patterned paper ‘shelf’ and some ‘wallpaper’ to the back.

You can see the detail on the wreath and the little red bow. It’s a special card that wouldn’t be any good for batch making!!!

Do pop over to the Clearly Besotted blog to see what they’ve created, and also visit the lovely Michelle and Lisa too!

Enjoy your day and do pop back tomorrow for another teaser!

Wow Keren it really is a special card! The lights look incredible, it must have taken ages to make this card. Love the vintage feel with the wallpaper etc. It reminds me of a shop front in a BBC production of a Dickens novel. Genius. And a fantastic use of the sets, old and new. Lisa xx

Well…what can I say about this little piiece of interactive art except you attention to detail is stunning. I’m so completely impressed that I’m speechless. Just sitting here with my mouth hanging open and drool oozing down my chin. Not a pretty picture, but accurate.
