Spellbinders ‘Let’s Bake’ Dies!

Hello! Hope you’re having a wonderful day!
It’s only a little while since I did any baking- I’ve managed to avoid doing too much over the school holidays as my kids have taken over that job!
I received some dies from Spellbinders and to my delight, one set is a baking themed one featuring 10 etched dies called ‘Let’s Bake – A Sweet Christmas’ by Sharyn Sowell.
This is what I cooked up 😉
Now you can see there’s not obviously any Christmas slant to it- but that’s the beauty of these- add a little holly or a Christmas patterned tablecloth and you have the perfect ‘from my home to yours’ or to adore tags with freshly baked goodies that you’ve rustled up yourself. Actually, after creating this, I had to top up my baking supplies ready for a session this evening!
If you haven’t ever used Spellbinders dies before, apart from their unique coloured gold dies, they’re a treat to use- they cut so cleanly and beautifully. I cut them out of white cardstock and then used my Nuvo AquaFlow pens to watercolour onto each piece. This easy type of scribbly watercolour suits me perfectly and I have loved creating with these dies.
I’ve other projects coming, so do keep an eye out for them.
The dies are available in the U.K. here and one US stockist with them in stock is Simon Says Stamp
I’d love to know what you think of the dies and how you can see yourself using them.
Thanks so much to Spellbinders for sending them- and I reckon I need to be off…there’s cakes that need baking!!

So reminiscent of my family’s kitchen, especially on holidays. All the bakeware came out and we had flour, sugar and a couple broken eggs oozing all over and making a mess. Love this card, it’s beautiful in so many ways, not the least of which are the memories it evokes.

I love how you’ve colored the die cuts. I’m doing similarly in my little studio, getting ready for Christmas here, too. Would love to sit down and craft with you sometime but for now we’re doing it long distance!!!
