August Clearly Besotted Teasers Day 3

Aloha! Welcome to the 3rd day of Sneak Peeks for the Clearly Besotted August release! These flower stamps are the perfect set for creating relaxed floral cards. The set is called ‘Oops A Daisy’. Simple stamping with gorgeous inks will make a quick card. Ok- this one wasn’t very quick due to the fussy cutting- but the stamping was quick enough!!I got my Catherine Pooler inks out (which I really recommend) and stamped a random pattern, allowing the elements to touch each other in places (allowing for easier cutting out1)Then simply get your craft knife out and create a simple cover plate type of element which I added foam pads to and put at an angle onto a contrasting navy blue piece. The sentiment is lovely- I just chopped it up for easy placement and added a couple of Nuvo sequins and drops (Dandelion Yellow). I loved making this card and it’s a great ‘just because’ card to send.Hope you’ve been enjoying what Michelle and Lisa have been creating. Do go and say Hi and see what they’ve been up to… not forgetting the Clearly Besotted blog too!Do come again tomorrow for some more teasers!Keren x

What a gorgeous card, Keren. I love the colours and the wonderful design. What a great idea to create your own cover plate. You can see that it was a lot of work with the fussy cutting but so worth it! xx

How clever to do a cover plate – when I first looked at the card I thought you had fussy cut them individually and then positioned them with tape, foam etc. But seriously, a lot of work went into cutting that out and it looks really beautiful Keren. Beautiful card xx

Such an amazing card Keren and such patience to cut it all out. Beautiful colours and another fabulous stamp set. What inspiration will you bring us tomorrow.

Blues with greens…a favorited combo of mine and you’ve done it beautifully, as always. How’s your hand feel after all that fussy cutting?
