Clearly Besotted April Teasers Day 1

Hellllooooo!

How are you?

It’s time for the Teasers!! I know you all have enjoyed the old format of Teasers being back. So, without further ado…today’s card is courtesy of the cutest set called ‘Under The Sea’

I dug out my alcohol inks from absolutely years ago to make a super quick and easy underwater effect. I used Ranger Stream colour-dabbed all over a folded piece of acetate.

I stamped and coloured the little diver using some of the new Nuvo Alcohol markers and adhered it using the edge of the helmet and hands. The bubbles are using Silver Pearl Nuvo drops. I know the jellyfish probably isn’t leaving bubbles in the sea but allow me a little poetic licence!!

By attaching the characters to the cardstock partially showing out of the alcohol inked portion you still get a sense of the colours and also gives the impression they are moving.

The sentiment is just so cute and perfect for an informal message for a friend!

I hope you love this set as much as I do. Check out the Clearly Besotted Blog and the other team’s blogs

Amazing card, Keren! I love the scene you have created. Love that you have added the alcohol ink on the acetate so that the characters can still be seen behind. Great idea! So cute! xx

Those alcohol inks really worked their magic on this adorable card. You’re right the images are delightful but it take a true, brilliant artist like yourself to bring them to life. Oh, and of course, acetate. This card is so charming…

Just love seeing what each of you do with all the sets – especially when you see the same set used by different people. LOVE the alcohol ink panel and that the diver is partially covered by it – it does make him look like he’s in the sea! Can’t wait to see what else you do. xx

I love how this turned out and love that you made it look realistic by coloring over them, too!!!

The alcohol ink on acetate looks amazing Keren, still havent tried this technique (add to majorly long list). Love the fluidity of the whole look across the card, gorgeous!
