Advent Calenda Extravaganza

Advent Calendar Extravaganza is -the- festive event of the season! This ‘hop with a twist’ was dreamed up by Taheerah Atchia and features surprise destinations each day! Joining in the fun with Taheerah are ONE HUNDRED special guests – each serving up some fantastic Christmas inspiration! Just like an Advent Calendar, you’ll never know where you’re going to be visiting next until you ‘open the door’!

And that’s not all! With 25 *amazing* sponsors taking part as guests as well, your crafty wish list is bound to get a boost with a chance to win a prize EVERY SINGLE DAY!!

Join in the fun every day at taheerah-atchia.com to see what special surprises await behind the door!

My sponsor today is a company close to my heart…Winnie & Walter !! Fabulous stamps, dies and stencils all created with love!! So.. on to my project!IMG_2603

I’ve used a mix of the brand new release plus some other products . The main sentiment is using the stamp and die set In A Word: Merry and the In A Word: Holiday Tiles Cutaways .

I’ve stamped the merry with mistletoe from the In Bloom: Elsa’s Flora onto the cutout word with Metro Grey Hybrid ink from Tonic Studios and then stamped in black onto a separate piece of cardIMG_2604

Hopefully you can see the detail on that and then mounted them together onto some printed acetate. Add the Christmas bit from the Holiday Tiles and then arrange some of the foliage from the Elsa’s Flora set behind and on top of the acetate piece.IMG_2605

The gorgeous background that you can see peeking through is a dry embossed piece using the Grand Trellis Creative Screening. I love the effect it gives and makes stencil no-mess too (which at this time of year is so appreciated!!)

It’s not a party without a prize – and with prizes every day there are several chances to win! Today’s prize is generously supplied by Winnie & Walter so you’ll definitely want to win! Simply leave a comment on this post – then head back to taheerah-atchia.com and leave a comment there too! You must leave a comment on Taheerah’s blog as well as mine in order to be eligible to win! Don’t forget to grab the other surprise destinations from Taheerah’s blog and head over to them to leave comments there as well to improve your odds even more! You have until 23:59 EST on 31st December 2017 to enter.

Don’t forget Advent Calendar Extravaganza runs from 1st-25th December inclusive so make sure you visit taheerah-atchia.com every day for fabulous inspiration and amazing prizes every single time!

Hope you enjoy seeing who else is behind the doors and I’ve loved creating this project especially for today!

Wishing you a very happy Christmas and a blessed New Year

Keren xx

This is like looking at a Rube Goldberg machine. The end is a Christmas card, yes, but there are so many interesting bits going into the making of it. And every time you look at it, you see a new detail that plays into the whole. I hope I’m making sense; it’s meant as a compliment. I think my favorite part is how you did the mistletoe; it’s such an interesting look! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
