Winnie and Walter Premiere Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Winnie & Walter release. Everyone seems to be loving this release so far. There is the chance to win it all- if you pop over to this post.

Today I’m focusing on a set of dies called Big Balloon Cutaways. These are wonderful for creating shaker cards as they have an inner dotted die for each of the larger dies enabling a shaker frame to be easily created. Instead, I’ve created a project using the smaller dies.

I decided to create an acetate base and arrange the die cut balloons on it in a pattern. Trim off any edges that protrude and then add some Distress ink onto the new Birthday Cutaway and some extra balloons.

The little ribbons are part of the balloon die set and I’ve stacked the die cut onto a purple die cut to give a shadow. Avoiding adhesive is always a challenge- the solution this time is to die cut a matching set of balloons and adhere them onto the reverse of the front side so no adhesive is visible.

Add twine strings before the birthday die cut is adhered and glue the strings in a curled design.

Do go and see the Winnie and Walter blog for more inspiring projects using the new products.

See you tomorrow  for Day 3

Astounding how you continue to come up with these fabulous designs. Anyone in their right mind would be amazed and honored to receive this incredible card. All that white with the hint of a rainbow running through it, is a stunning effect. Wow!
