Fiskars Feather Punch
Sorry I’ve been absent. I’ve been away working at a trade show and lots of magazine work. I do have lots of posts coming to try and keep you all updated. I’ve a run down of the Stitches show coming tomorrow but for today, quite possibly the simplest card ever but using one punch and some lovely rainbow coloured scraps.
Working with Fiskars design team has taken me right back to my crafty beginnings; so many of us began with punches. It’s easy to dismiss them as beginners tools, but they’re so much more than that and have really made me think more creatively. Add to that, there’s no faffing around positioning dies etc etc and you have a super speedy make.
Fiskars have brought out a whole series of new shapes, in the handheld, the power punches, squeeze tools and the border punches. This feather shape is a squeeze punch which are really fab for those who struggle with traditional style punches.
Just grab a load of scraps of paper, punch, position and add a little sentiment from a Mama Elephant set ( Wanderlust).
I’ll be back tomorrow with another post and a normal schedule of blogging!
