Re-Run; Renee’s Leaves

Hi! How are you?

It’s Re-run time over at Winnie & Walter and this month its using Renee’s Leaves.

I adore this set; so versatile, so pretty, even used by itself. It is designed to work with all the floral sets too. I’ve gone with a softer look and a little partial die cutting

The set is a gorgeous collection of leaf images

To partially cut the In A Word; Hello Cutaway die, just attach the die to a piece of cardstock and position in the middle (so there’s room to fold behind it and create a tent folded card). Add the cutting plates but move them up a little so the bottom of the die isn’t covered by the cutting plate, therefore no pressure=not cut! Score either side of where the cutting finishes and fold down and you get a partially cut card with a word at the top!

I trimmed the card down either side as didn’t love the proportions. In fact I cut it down so much that the card fell apart! Ha. So try not to do that too!

Check out the rest of the Talent’s creations– you’ll love this set! Don’t forget that it’s on sale and perfect for Autumn/Fall cards and some beautiful Christmas wreaths!

This beauty belongs in a shadow-box frame, Keren! I need a tree with leaves these colors, too! xx

“A thing of beauty in a oy forever” so I will be joyful all day.. The leaf flourish, corsage, (whatever) is stunning…and so cleverly place next to the partial diecut ‘Hello”. The card is so impressive and the recipient’s jaw would drop and hang open on it’s hinge…just like mine is doing now.

“You had me at ‘Hello’.” Oh Keren, this is stunning! Not just pretty, or creative, it’s absolutely stunning. The partial die cutting, combined with those perfectly colored leaves is breathtaking. Michele is right – this belongs in a frame, and hung in a place of pride. LOVE this.

Well it’s certainly all put back together again now and it is soooo striking! I love the cool pastelly tones you took on to give the traditional Fall feel a little bit of a twist!
