Hi! Welcome to another post- this time showcasing a really amazing set of …dots. Paperbabe Stamps have released several sets & I’m showing today the versatile ‘Pop Dots’!

It works gloriously with the templates and Profile Face stamp set and Kim’s face and hair templates all available at her Store.

So how do you create this canvas? Here’s a quick step-by-stepIMG_3851Using the face template and face stamps, I painted the face, added the basic details and then masked off the edges so I could stamp the Pop Art styled face.IMG_3853Next I started stamping using the different sized dots which work perfectly together. I didn’t line them up perfectly, but the effect is great with or without perfection.IMG_3854Once I’d added more details, I laid out the hair templates so I could see where I wanted to go with the hair; pink, of course! You can see I over-stamped by the ear- but it didn’t matter as I could simply cover up the mistake with rolls of pink hair!!IMG_3894It was so much fun and a real creative challenge making her. I loved adding in little details like the stars that are on the Profile Face stamp set and this dot set (which will be wonderful in backgrounds and filling in animals etc, is available to purchase on Friday 12th in her Store.

If ever you wanted to get into faces- this is the best way to do it- like having a teacher guide you through the process and you end up with something really better than you might have created if left to it by yourself (well, that’s definitely the case for me!!).

See you soon – and do go visit the blog where there are some amazing samples from Kim and her team!

xx
