Dazzling Diva Challenge ♯45

Hi! How are you all? Wednesday means challenge day.. the photo is going all seasonal on you..I’ve gone more wintery than beyond (!) with this Avery Elle set..as we’re sticking with a week long blog hop!

I went for the colours- cutting out the deer after stamping onto Brushed Bronze, moulding it into shape with the tools and filling the reverse with embossing paste to keep the shape. I also gently scratched off spots- I’d stamped the bubbles from the set onto the deer to give him markings! think outta the box and make those stamps work a little harder!!

I’ve used one of the tag dies to create the tag shape

The stars are stamped, coloured with gold gel pen and then have an Avery Elle sequin added over them. I mounted the deer on a piece of curved Wondrous White metal that I’d pricked holes in to give texture.

If you fancy joining in with this challenge No.45- just get any inspiration any which way.

To join in go and visit the challenge here & you can use the inspiration photo or ‘anything goes’. You DON’T have to use craft metal sheets and it’s worth entering for a chance of winning the $15 voucher from the Boutique. Then, upload it to your blog or online gallery.

If you upload to online galleries, please also use tag/keyword DIVA45. Then leave a link to your project here . Please use a direct link to your post and not just your blog.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the look at Avery Elle, I know it’s a new company to some of you.

So glad to be reconnected. Sky took their time.

We finally got someone who talked sense. He asked if we were plumbers or had a plumbing business.

I’m very used to plunging the bath to unblock it..and something else in the bathroom too.. but calling myself a plumber would be one step too far.

Turns out.. our phone was working!

Thing is, the engineer (using that term loosely) switched our phone line to someone else.

So, anyone phoning us, went straight through to another person.

My eldest, when hearing what the firm was called, recognised it immediately. It’s one of our neighbours!

Great. I’ve lost money, time and business..has his company too?

I’ve another job. A visit to a neighbour, asking whether he’s had any business coming through over the past week. If not, I’m going to have to explain, and apologise and possibly go back to Sky on his behalf.

I sure have nothing else to do in my schedule.

Today’s work involves a conversation with them asking for reimbursement of what we’ll have to pay for all the extra data we used on our phone.

Can’t imagine they’ll hand it over easily!

See you soon!

xx

Lord, do I ever detest technical difficulties, although mine have never reached the critical point yours has. Whew! To move on to more pleasant themes, your tag is just adorable. Such a clever idea to fill the fawn with embossing paste and then there are those perfect little spots. Amazing. Love it!

How cute is your deer! Your Tag is fabulous Keren, can imagine all the xmas pressies tagged with those..

Good luck with Sly/Sky, i think you have a very good chance at getting some reimbursement as long as you “keep calm & carry on nagging”. 🙂 xxx

The dimension on the deer is amazing and I love that you added the paste to help him keep his shape. That phone business is just crazy! I’m glad it’s working now!
