Card for the Paralympics & Temporary Love

How did it become Friday so soon? Just popping on to post this card inspired by the Paralympics. I won’t go into how I wish they’d been joined as a Games with the other Olympics- but these athletes are worth celebrating. The union jack circles are to simulate medals and the yellow button is a nod to a gold medal.
It’s only a short post. I’m in the middle of doing tea. My youngest is still saying amusing things. I wonder when he’ll stop. He said to me today “Mummy I really love you”. I told him I loved him back.
“I can’t love you forever”.
“why not Will?”
“because forever is too long”.
I guess it is.
A 4 year old’s capacity for understanding longevity of time is limited.
That’s ok. I like him loving me for jus now. Hope it continues though!!
See you after we’ve eaten some of Larry- I know, it’s bad but it had to be done!! xx
